According to Football London, new West Ham manager David Moyes wants to recall fellow Scotsman Robert Snodgrass from his loan at Aston Villa, to make him part of his squad at The Hammers.
Snodgrass joined West Ham in January 2017, as a replacement for Dimitri Payet, who left in the same window, but was unable to match the Frenchman’s goalscoring exploits.
During his first half season at The Hammers, he fell out with, now former manager, Slaven Bilic, so the former Hull City man joined Aston Villa on loan, and he has proved his worth at The Villains.

However, during his time at Villa, Snodgrass has had public spats with West Ham’s reckless co-chairman David Sullivan and chief executive Karen Brady, which has given Snodgrass immense amounts of support from the West Ham faithful, those who are against the board.
Snodgrass may stay at Villa and help them with their promotion fight as Villa are desperate to keep him and he is getting regular first-team football at Aston Villa and he may not want to go back to West Ham, to work under owners he has had previous with whilst fighting a relegation battle.
