Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal is reportedly seeing Diafra Sakho as a transfer target who can keep Swansea City up this season, as per The Mirror.
It has been well reported that Sakho is keen on a move away from West Ham, even flying out to Rennes in the summer to instigate a move which ultimately didn’t happen.
The 28-year-old remains optimistic on a move to France, but Swansea are reportedly going to try and keep him playing in the Premier League.
He has scored twice in the Premier League this season, including the late winner against Swansea City at the London Stadium. He has not, however, played 90 minutes for the Hammers all season, including in the Carabao Cup against Cheltenham Town and Bolton Wanderers.

He lies behind Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez for a spot in the starting XI, which is why he is lacking minutes and goals under his belt this season, and David Moyes is willing to sell him for fund his own transfer business.
However, since the loss of Fernando Llorente and Gylfi Sigurdsson behind him, Carlos Carvalhal is making the strikers position his priority, looking for more firepower, which he has seen in Sakho.
Just like the last transfer window, Sakho may be looking for a way out of the London Stadium, and although he may wish to go to France, he may end up in Wales, and as part of a move which could see Alfie Mawson moving to the capital.
