West Ham Team News: Everton (A)

David Moyes will be impressed by the spirit and fight that his side displayed in the second-half especially last Friday against Leicester as his side battled back from a goal down to earn a draw, his first point as West Ham manager.

Despite there being a lot of fixture congestion in the winter period as there is every year, West Ham have had the rub of the green this week, with their Friday-to-Wednesday gap the largest in the Premier League this week, and hopefully, the extra rest day will pay dividends.

While Everton are in an equally dismal position in the league, they will be buoyed by the (imminent) appointment of Sam Allardyce as their new manager and we know only too well what he brings to the table.

Moyes has no new injury fears to worry about but despite Michail Antonio returning to training this week, he’s unlikely to be involved tonight against the Toffees.

The same can be said for Javier Hernandez who hasn’t returned to training after picking up a hamstring injury on international duty two weeks ago.

James Collins made his return in a U23 game last night but he was forced off injured early on and he’s not going to feature tonight. Here’s one last look at our predicted XI.
