According to the Mirror, Javier Hernandez is set to miss the first three games of David Moyes’ reign at West Ham.
West Ham’s marquee summer signing, Hernandez, injured his hamstring in a 3-3 draw against Belgium with Mexico on international duty last week and is expected to miss the next three games for The Hammers, which gives Moyes a tricky start to his West Ham reign.

With Hernandez out, Andy Carroll or Diafra Sakho are expected to start for West Ham in their games against Watford, Leicester and Moyes’ former side Everton, which leads them up to December, where they have a very tough run of fixtures.
However, West Ham fans will probably want promising youngster, Antonio Martinez, to lead the line for The Hammers in Chicharito’s absence, after showing great form for the U23’s and with Carroll and Sakho making bad comments about the West Ham faithful in recent weeks.
To add to West Ham’s woes, Winston Reid is expected to miss the game away to Watford on Sunday, as he has a game with New Zealand in the early hours of Thursday (UK time) and will only get back on Thursday.
