André Ayew has spoken out about the pressure manager Slaven Bilic finds himself under, claiming the West Ham players will “give everything” for him, according to the Telegraph.
It is well known that the Croatian is a manager under pressure with West Ham sitting 16th on eight points, the same as Everton, who are taking up the last relegation spot.
However, a result that could end up being a turning point in the Hammers’ season is Wednesday’s comeback win against rivals Spurs at Wembley.
Bilic’s men were 2-0 down at half time, but two Ayew goals and a winner from Angelo Ogbonna turned the match on its head within 14 minutes.
The Ghanaian international spoke to the media after his brace and said:
We have to keep working hard and the manager knows the players are behind him. We will give everything we can.

It is clear that the West Ham players are working hard for the 49-year-old manager and they are behind him, believing he can guide West Ham away from the troubles they’re in.
There were plenty of calls for Bilic to go after the 3-0 loss at home to newly-promoted Brighton & Hove Albion. However, the board did not rush into a decision and Wednesday night proved that was the right call.
West Ham head to bottom of the table side Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday for a nail-biting clash. It will be shown then if what they did in the second half at Wembley was a one-off or not.
