According to the Daily Mail, Diafra Sakho has returned to training with West Ham, after his transfer deadline day saga.
The last three days for Sakho and West Ham have been eventful to say the least.
On Wednesday, Sakho flew out to France to agree personal terms and have a medical ahead of a move to Rennes worth £9m. All went well in Sakho’s point of view until both of David Sullivan’s sons announced that the Senegal striker would stay, meaning he did all of this without the clubs permission

On Thursday (transfer deadline day), Sakho wanted to fly back to England, to discuss personal terms with the West Ham board, but before he could travel to the London Stadium, he had to wait in the car park at Chelmsford racecourse, as his agent’s horse, Siege For Boston, was running in the 3.20, the horse then won.
They then travelled to the London Stadium to discuss personal issues with the board, but no one was there, with one of the co-owners, David Sullivan, being on holiday in Marbella.
He rang a member of West Ham, saying that he wants to leave due to “off field personal issues” but no move came to fruition.
Then, from out of nowhere, it was reported that Sakho was issued a new contract at The Hammers, what a mad transfer deadline it turned out to be for West Ham, despite not selling anyone or bringing any new faces in.
Sakho has returned to training today at Rush Green, to train with the players that didn’t get a call up to their respective national sides.
