West Ham not planning to replace Bilic

According to talkSPORT, West Ham are not looking for a replacement for current manager, Slaven Bilic despite a poor start to this Premier League season.

Bilic has come under a lot of pressure from pundits and West Ham fans after a poor season last campaign and a bad start to the current season, losing 4-0 against Manchester United, and most recently, suffering a 3-2 loss to Southampton.

It was reported that West Ham owners, David Gold and David Sullivan were looking at potential replacements for Bilic as they feared another relegation battle but West Ham sources have said that these rumours are “total rubbish”.

Bilic gave West Ham fans a memorable season in 2015/16, as they said farewell to the historic Boleyn Ground. The Croatian will hope the signings of Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez could help the turn the Hammer’s fortunes around.

The current West Ham boss has one year left on his current deal and he will hope to get a renewed deal by the end of the campaign but early signs could suggest that this won’t happen, especially with strong reports that Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has been earmarked as his potential successor.
