Slaven Bilic is ready to pay £50million to land Arsenal duo Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud, according to the Daily Star.
Arsene Wenger is preparing for a major revamp of his Arsenal squad this summer after signing a new two-year deal in May, with West Ham ready to take both Walcott and Giroud off the Frenchman’s hands.
It is believed that Wenger would not stand in the way of either forward leaving the Emirates this summer after they both had a hit and miss season last term.
Wenger is trying desperately to sign forwards Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon and Kylian Mbappe from Monaco and both would certainly pose an upgrade on Walcott and Giroud.
Wenger is also ready to listen to offers this summer for left-back Kieran Gibbs and midfielder Francis Coquelin. England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, however, is said to be close to signing a new deal at the Emirates.
West Ham appear to have been beaten by Everton to the signing of KAS Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru, which could force them to press ahead with moves for Giroud and Walcott.
