Ahead of West Ham’s game on boxing day, away to Swansea, Bilic spoke to the press. He told them that we have a few knocks however everyone is fit ‘Except Diafra Sakho who is out for six to eight weeks’.
SB: "He will miss the Africa Cup of Nations and it is a big blow for us.

This means that the Hammers striker will not be able to take part in the African cup of nations in January. West Ham are already set to lose the likes of Cheikhou Kouyate and Andre Ayew to the tournament.

This could reinforce the idea that we need to bolster our squad if we are to clasp vital results in the coming month. Every point is vital whilst a team is in a situation like West Ham are at the moment.
West Ham have already looked at various players to step in the shoes of Diafra Sakho, the likes of Marcus Rashford, Daniel Sturridge and Mauro Icardi are all on West Ham’s radar.
