After a very eventful week for Andy Carroll, Slaven Bilic revealed that the Englishman should be back in time for the Tottenham game.
West Ham are set to face Tottenham at White hart lane for the last time on the 19th November after the international break. When asked when Carroll would return Bilic replied “He is back running and there has been no negative reaction to that. If it continues like this, in two weeks’ time, we are expecting him to be training on the pitch with us”.
In the summer many West Ham fans would’ve been hoping to improve on Carroll and urged the club to buy a proven European goal scorer however as the West Ham curse goes we struggled to find anyone that fulfilled that title. Many thought Simone Zaza was the answer however after featuring in seven games he has scored 0 goals.
The return of Carroll is going to be very important for the club as he is someone that will end our striker’s goal drought. He will also be good in this new formation with Payet and Lanzini drifting off of him.
