West Ham and Southampton both have very strong teams and always have very close games. Sometimes they can become heated like we have seen last season with Wanyama getting sent off against us.
Southampton have let another few players go in the likes on Wanyama and Pellé go, who could of been classed as two of their best players last season after the likes of Shaw, Clyne and Lallana leave over the last few windows they should’ve tried to retain their best players and built around them. The signing of Sofiane Boufal would’ve been a tough test for West Ham and many teams a like however due to fitness he still is yet to feature for them.
There are always arguments about what players would make it into another so today we have had to split it down the middle and picked who would be used in a combined XI.
