West Ham face West Brom away from home this weekend in what has become a must-win clash for the Hammers thanks to their poor start to the season. The same fixture last season ended with a comfortable 3-0 for the London side, and they could certainly do with the same result come 5pm on Saturday.
West Brom aren’t in the best form either. After a good away win on the first day of the season against Crystal Palace, they’ve lost to Everton and Bournemouth and failed to beat newly promoted Middlesbrough at home.
The Baggies are certainly in need of a win, especially with the rumours of Pulis not being happy looming above the club, and they will likely fancy their chances at home against a West Ham team which appears to be in a slump.
Both teams played the same 4-2-3-1 formation last week have done in the past, so that’s the formation the combined XI will be set up in. When the players are looked at on a head-to-head basis, it should be a comfortable win for the Hammers this weekend.
