Swansea City want at least £20million for forward Andre Ayew, according to the Essex Chronicle . The move would profit the Welsh club immensely as the Ghanaian only joined them last summer on a free transfer from Marseille, and scored twelve goals in his debut Premier League campaign.
West Ham are reportedly prepared to pay up to £16m for the international, who has eleven goals in 67 games for his country. In addition, his goalscoring record in England’s top flight shows that he is more than capable of playing at this level

A move for Ayew could be problematic however, with the 26-year-old participating in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which would mean he would miss two months of the season.
If Ayew were to join, he would link up with fellow Africans Sofiane Feghouli, Cheikhou Kouyate and Diafra Sakho. It would also make him West Ham’s record transfer buy.
Francesco Guidolin may be reluctant to let Ayew leave though, as the Swans are in need of a forward themselves following the departures of Alberto Paloschi and Bafetimbi Gomis.
