West Ham and Stoke City put on red alert as Manolo Gabbiadini hints at move away from Napoli this summer after he is rumoured of wanting more first team football.
Manolo Gabbiadini has recently been linked with a move away from Italian giants Napoli after being advised by his sister to “consider his future”, the striker scored 9 goals in all competitions last year.
Gabbiadini who can play as striker or right wing has had a good run of no injuries with the longest injury having only lasted 30 days, this would benefit either team that sign him because he would be fit most of the season.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Gabbiadini will not be looking for another season of sitting on the bench so will most likely go to a team where he will be offered first team football. West Ham have been rumoured to have offered a club-record fee of £20m for Gabbiadini.
While it maybe clear that he wants to move on, it is unsure whether Napoli would be willing to sell with them being included in the Champions League this season.
Gabbiadini maybe down the pecking order at Napoli however would he drop Champions League to join a team that is in Europa League or who do not have European football at all?
Gabbiadini would fit into the Premier League well, he is quick, he has strength and he can be clinical. Gabbiadini can take free kicks well if given the opportunity. He has good long shooting which is good for troubling the keeper from far out.
He would be a decent fit for both teams that are interested as well as being fairly young and still has a lot of time to improve.
