Since the appointment of Slaven Bilic, West Ham have been linked with nearly every Besiktas player you could think of. This morning, the loan signing of Gokhan Tore was confirmed; two days after a £3m bid for Atiba Hutchinson.
This is a player we have been trying to get all summer, according to most rumours. The Canadian midfielder spent a high amount of his career at Danish champions, Copenhagen; but has since moved onto PSV of Holland and now Besiktas.
In his time at Dutch club PSV, he was often utilised at right back and played at this position for a long time at the club. Throughout the first half of the 2010 season and 2012 season, Atiba Hutchinson was the preferred right back for the club; good news for West Ham. Since 2003, he has made 94 appearances for the club, one special performance against Arsenal in which Wenger branded him as ‘the most impressive Besiktas player’.
Ever since Atiba’s contract ran out at PSV, he said that his desire was to play for a premier league club, he then moved to Besiktas where his intentions seem to be the same. Besiktas chief said “I am going to have talks with him, he said he wants the Move to England. West Ham made a £3m offer but we want more for him“.

Since then talks must have taken place as Turkish source Ajansspor have reported that Atiba has been told by his manager “If you want to go West Ham, then you can leave“. Therefore, I guess it is up to West Ham if they want to pay the money and the wages for the Besiktas midfielder.
