West Ham remain interested in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain of Arsenal, but may have to wait to land their man.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger is a strong believer in Oxlade-Chamberlain’s talent and will wait until next season to assess his situation.
The 22-year-old’s huge potential certainly isn’t in question from anyone at Arsenal, but his injury record is. Alex has been a regular in the treatment room since arriving at the Emirates. His latest came in a Champions League clash with Barcelona last February, which ruled him out for seven weeks. 17 weeks on and he is now expected to return next month.

Southampton are thought to be keen on re-signing the Ox, while the Premier League champions Leicester have also been credited with an interest.
Since signing for Arsenal in 2011, Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 149 appearances, scoring 14 and assisting 21 in the process.
Maybe West Ham would have more luck signing his 18-year-old brother Christian, who spent last season on loan at Wimborne Town from Portsmouth, instead.
