AFC Bournemouth are anticipating another approach from West Ham for star striker Callum Wilson, according to the Daily Mail.
West Ham had a double swoop, in the region of £25million, for Wilson and his teammate Matt Ritchie knocked back by Bournemouth last month, before turning their attentions to Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon and Michy Batshuayi of Marseille. The Hammers have grown frustrated by the lack of progress in negotiations regarding both Ligue 1 strikers and could soon reignite their interest in Wilson.
The 24-year-old started his first season in the English top flight so brightly, scoring five in his opening six games, before ruling himself out for seven months with a cruciate ligament rupture. When Wilson returned, with just six games of the season remaining, his lack of match fitness saw Eddie Howe only use him as an impact substitute. With a full pre-season behind him, Wilson will be looking to prove himself at the highest level next season.

The Cherries are currently in discussions with Le Havre over a potential deal for French forward Lys Mousset. He scored 14 times in 28 league appearances last season, albeit in the French Ligue 2, and is valued at £7million.
Mousset is capable of playing upfront and on the wing – potentially making him the ideal candidate to replace Wilson and Ritchie? The Daily Mail say Bournemouth are anticipating another offer from West Ham for the pair, but the Cherries will not lower their £30million price-tag.
