Dimitri Payet had ruled out a summer move and insisted it was ‘very likely’ that he would be a West Ham player next season, though fresh reports from France suggest he is open to one potential move this summer.
French source Le10Sport say sources ‘close to the club’ believe Payet would be open to a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, where his fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane is manager. The news will hardly come as a shock to most as almost everyone involved with football dreams of one day playing for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Zidane is said to be a keen admirer of Payet and would be prepared to pay up to £45million to land the 29-year-old this summer, but West Ham will hold out for closer to £60million.

With so many of Europe’s elite interested and no need to sell, the Hammers certainly won’t be interested in offloading Payet for less than their asking price.
Payet recently put good form and success for both West Ham and France at the Euros down to his former boss Marcelo Bielsa, who coached him during his time at Marseille.
“Bielsa? This coach was a trigger for me, he taught me a lot,” Payet said, as quoted by Le Phoceen. “I still use some of his advice and it will serve me until the end of my career.”
