Scottish defender Stephen Hendrie is set to join Championship side Blackburn Rovers on loan, after coming to an agreement with West Ham.
Hendrie signed for West Ham last summer after being released by Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academical. The 21-year-old had been promoted through their youth ranks and had made over 100 first-team appearances before his contract expired.
He is currently yet to make a senior appearance for the Hammers and, therefore, wants to prove himself to Slaven Bilic by gaining first-team football out on loan.

The Daily Mail report that Reading and Bournemouth also held an interest in signing Hendrie, but it is Blackburn Rovers who have reached an agreement with West Ham.
Hendrie spent the majority of last season on loan to Southend United in League One, where he made five appearances and even netted his first goal in England.
He will be hoping to have a slightly bigger impact at Ewood Park next season.
