West Ham are interested in signing Belgian goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet from Catania, according to an exclusive from Tutto Calcio Catania.
The report claims Gillet wants to leave Catania and Standard Liege are currently in pole position to land the 37-year-old, but the sides are yet to agree a transfer fee.
West Ham reportedly hold an interest in Gillet and could still launch an eleventh-hour bid.
Should the Hammers follow up their reported initial interest and swoop for Gillet, this could spell an end to Darren Randolph’s time in East London. The 29-year-old, who has weirdly attracted a lot of attention in the German press, made 15 appearances for the Hammers.

Gillet is currently with the Belgian national team at the European Championships as Thibaut Courtois’ back-up. Next up for Gillet & co is a trip to Bordeaux to take on the Republic of Ireland on Saturday – a must win game, having lost their opening fixture 2-0 to Italy.
