According to French outlet Le10Sport, West Ham are plotting a move for 23-year-old Alassane Plea.
The Nice striker had a good start to the season scoring two goals in his first three games, however, not long after that, he picked up a knee injury that ruled him out for four months.
After returning from his injury, the Frenchman scored six goals and has four assists in 19 games.
Plea can play either up top or in the wider areas and although he has represented France up to Under 21 level, he seems to have gone unnoticed by any major clubs.

If West Ham do submit a bid for Plea, then he would not be their big summer signing. He would likely be used as a back up in cup and European games, but would add depth to the squad.
West Ham are still looking to bring Carlos Bacca to London and according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com the Colombians agent flew into the capital yesterday to discuss a deal.
