Another great performance from West Ham!
The Hammers are now really pushing for fifth position after a 3-0 win against a defensive Tony Pulis side.
A win over West Brom is a great result at any time of the season, but it was even better after they had just stopped Tottenham in their bid for the title.
Slaven Bilic’s side didn’t start the game well but in the 34th minute, Senegalese powerhouse Cheikhou Kouyate opened the scoring. From then on it was clear that West Brom had nothing to lose, and as they pushed for an equaliser in the dying embers of the first half, Mark Noble got himself on the scoresheet.
West Ham then turned the game into a training match, just keeping the ball from the opposition and they waited patiently for any opening. After 35 minutes of waiting, it came. Mark Noble perfectly positioned at the back post smashed in Andy Carroll’s cross.
Here we look at the four things we learnt from the game.
