Bilic – He could play in any team in the world

After West Ham’s final game against Tottenham at the Boleyn Ground, Slaven Bilic spoke to the media.

In the hammers last ever march against Spurs everyone wanted a win! If there was one game to win it would be this one. With injured players returning to the squad it looked as if West Ham could stop high-flying Tottenham.

If Tottenham won the game they would’ve become top of the Premier League but West Ham won 1-0 thanks to a Michail Antonio header.

On Thursday evening, West Ham star man Dimitri Payet won London Player of the Year and Bilic told the media what he thinks of Payet’s exclusion from the French squad, as reported by the club’s official site.

He is a great player, but it is down to the manager to pick his players. But if they already got five or six players like Dimitri in their squad then they are going to win the Euros easily. He could play in any team in the world.

Bilic was also asked if he thinks captain Mark Noble should be given another chance for England.

It is hard to comment from the outside, but Mark is having a fantastic season and I haven’t seen many midfielders playing as well and being as consistent as he is. He is a leader who is playing fantastically. I feel that he and Cresswell should both be selected for the squad.

Bilic told the media what he thought West Ham’s chances are of beating a strong Everton side.

On paper Everton are amazing and can be one of the best teams in the league on the pitch. They have everything and we will need to be at our best ahead of the game tomorrow. After beating Blackburn in the cup, the two teams I wanted to avoid were Chelsea and Everton.

The Hammers will now face Everton on Saturday and will need a win if they wish to pursue their European dream. Slaven Bilic answered some highly anticipated questions.
