The Standard are reporting that West Ham are interested in Juventus striker Simone Zaza. The 24-year-old is looking for a loan deal to get more game time ahead of Euro 2016 as his place looks in doubt.

The striker who joined the Italian champions Sassuolo last year has only made 11 appearances for the club so far but has an impressive 6 goals in those games. He’s represented his country 7 times scoring once against Norway back in 2014.
West Ham aren’t expected to do a lot of business this transfer window after being one of the most active clubs back in the summer. Reports say there will be no new arrivals of note unless there are outgoings at the club. Striker Mauro Zarate could be one of the outgoings after being linked with Malaga and Zaza would be a like for like replacement. Juventus seem keen to keep Zaza until the end of the season but there’s also interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham.
