Valencia have made the terms clear for the signature of Alvaro Negredo, if West Ham United opt to sign the Spanish forward, according to Spanish media outlet Plaza Deportiva.
The Hammers would have to agree a loan deal for the 29-year-old, with an obligation to buy the striker next summer. However, bearing in mind that the La Liga side had to pay Manchester City over £20million, it is likely that the East London club will be put off by the rather large price tag.
Negredo recorded five goals and four assists during the 2014/15 campaign, and helped Manchester City to the Premier League title in the previous season. He scored nine Premier League goals under Manuel Pellegrini, and would be looking to increase his English scoring tally if he made the move to Upton Park.
In addition, it is difficult to foresee West Ham paying such high wages for the international as it would be financially non-viable. He has ten goals in 21 international appearances for the Spanish national team.
