West Ham have finally announced their new manager, as former Besiktas manager Slaven Bilic is appointed Sam Allardyce’s replacement.
The 46 year-old is a former Hammer himself, playing for the club during the 1996/97 season and playing a pivotal role in our Premier League survival that year.
Bilic has previously managed Croatia, Lokomotiv Moscow and Besiktas and has a career win rate of over 55%.
The Croat will provide fiery passion on the pitch – something which West Ham fans have not seen in a long time.
Having tipped Marcelo Bielsa to the vacant managerial post, we look forward to welcoming Slaven Bilic back to East London and hopefully he is the man to take us forward into our new era of football at the Olympic Stadium.
