West Ham’s first season under Slaven Bilic was a resounding success, but his sophomore year has been anything but. While we maintain our faith in our charismatic manager, some questions must be asked about some of his transfer business, especially the deals done in the summer just gone. After securing bargains such as Dimitri Payet, Manuel […]
The Football Observatory have compiled a list of the most expensive squads in the world, and West Ham rank surprisingly highly. They note that the current Manchester United squad was purchased for a mammoth €719m, making it the most expensive squad ever assembled in the history of football – largely boosted by the world-record €110m transfer of […]
West Ham youngster Domingos Quina has scored a wondergoal for the U23 side against Leicester this week. The 16-year-old, signed from Chelsea in the summer and spent the pre-season with the first-team, is one of the big names playing in our U23 side currently and is flourishing. West Ham have shipped 14 goals in their last four Premier League games, losing them all, which has raised questions about their defence. With injuries in the fullback positions to Arthur Masuaku, Aaron Cresswell and Havard Nordtveit, Slaven Bilic has promoted youngster Alex Pike to the first-team this week. The 19-year-old right-back trained with the […]
West Ham are believed to be considering cancelling attacker Gokhan Tore’s loan spell from Besiktas in January, according to Turkish source Fanatik. The former Chelsea starlet made his name at Besiktas under Slaven Bilic who tried to make him one of his first signings at the club last summer before Besiktas ruled out the move. […]
Who’d have though just six games into the season that we’d already be in ‘must win’ territory. But, that’s the reality of our situation as West Ham sit in the bottom three after losing five of their first six Premier League games, including the last four in a row. Slaven Bilic, more for his sake, […]
September has largely been a month to forget for the Hammers. Four successive defeats in the Premier League and a narrow win over Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup isn’t much to rave about. We hope that this weekend against Middlesbrough, West Ham and Slaven Bilic can begin the turnaround and put in a performance to […]
West Ham, Sunderland and Stoke are all interested in making January moves for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge according to Calciomercato. The Hammers’ striker woes are well-documented. Loan-to-buy arrival Simone Zaza has not hit the ground running and doesn’t look like scoring anytime soon, and the same can be said about his on-loan team-mate Jonathan Calleri. Andy […]
Andy Carroll is currently sidelined with a knee injury which won’t see him return until after the international break, but that’s not stopping him from having a good time. The England international striker has been spotted in London this afternoon with team-mate Darren Randolph, more specifically in a pub in Shoreditch. Twitter: @AndyTCarroll and @RandzOfficial […]
With West Ham’s poor form all anyone seems to be talking about, and rightly so, it’s easy to forget what good Slaven Bilic has brought to West Ham in the last 16 months. We were a team locked in a mid-table struggle, with absolutely no ambition of breaking into England’s elite group of clubs. In […]
Struggling with injuries at left-back, West Ham have been offered the chance to sign free agent defender Kevin Constant, report the Mirror. West Ham lost first-choice left-back Aaron Cresswell to a long-term knee injury following a challenge suffered in a pre-season friendly against Karlsruher in July. The club not that they hope to welcome him […]

The Spaniard was a substitute for each of Chelsea’s first five Premier League games and was handed a first start of the season in […]
