West Ham United may be searching for their first Championship victory of the season, but Nuno Espírito Santo has one remarkable statistic firmly in his favour before Wolves arrive at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have won their last six home meetings with Wolves, a run stretching back to September 2020.
West Ham themselves have highlighted that sequence ahead of Tuesday’s meeting as the club chase a seventh consecutive home victory over the Old Gold.
For a manager already facing significant supporter pressure, it is a record Nuno desperately needs to preserve.
West Ham have dominated Wolves at home
The recent results are emphatic.
West Ham beat Wolves 4-0 in April, following home victories of 2-1, 3-0, 2-0, 1-0 and another 4-0 across the previous five meetings.
That means Wolves have not taken so much as a point from their last six visits to West Ham.
The sequence is particularly striking considering the Hammers’ struggles elsewhere during parts of that period.
It also provides one of the few historical trends pointing firmly in Nuno’s favour ahead of Tuesday.

Wolves arrive in completely different form
History will only carry West Ham so far.
Wolves have started the Championship season significantly better.
César Peixoto’s side have collected seven points from nine, sit second and have scored nine league goals already.
West Ham have two points from the same number of games and remain without a Championship victory.
Sports Mole also notes that Wolves have gone five matches unbeaten in all competitions, while backing the visitors to win 2-1 at London Stadium.
That makes Tuesday considerably more difficult than the recent head-to-head record suggests.
Nuno badly needs his first West Ham league win
The pressure around Nuno has intensified quickly.
West Ham supporters vented their frustration following the 1-1 draw at Watford, with sections of the away end chanting for the manager to be dismissed.
Our report on the reaction from West Ham supporters highlighted just how quickly patience has begun to disappear.
The arrival of Edvin Austbø at least gives Nuno another attacking option, while Pablo Felipe is available again after injury.
West Ham therefore need to find a way of turning possession into considerably more danger than they managed at Vicarage Road.
And there can be few better opponents against whom to attempt it.
Six visits.
Six West Ham wins.
If Nuno wants to calm the growing noise around his position, allowing that remarkable Wolves streak to end now would be exactly what he does not need.
