West Ham are reportedly preparing to make a ‘formal offer’ for FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral.
The Hammers are expected to prioritise an attacking arrival in the January transfer window and have been extensively linked with the 23-year-old in recent weeks.
Cabral has been a revelation since arriving in Switzerland from Palmeiras and has amassed an impressive 82 direct goal contributions in 106 outings for the Super League club.
According to a report from Goal Brasil, as cited by West Ham Transfers on Twitter, the Irons are moving ahead with plans to sign the Brazilian.

Valued at £13.5million and under contract in Switzerland until 2023 (Transfermarkt), signing the frontman for the suggested £12.5million fee is a no-brainer.
Described as an ‘athletic assassin’ by Football Talent Scout, Cabral certainly looks to fit the bill required to lead the line for a David Moyes managed side.
Holding an impressive availability record, the Brazilian is surely primed for the next step in a promising career at the Hammers should be looking to strike.
