West Ham have discovered the asking price required to sign Weston McKennie from Juventus.
The Hammers have been extensively linked with a move for the midfielder in recent months and could act upon their interest as soon as January.
Despite only being a recent signing for the Serie A giants, McKennie could be allowed to leave for pastures new for £25.5million.
That’s according to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, as cited by Joseph M. on Twitter, claiming that the Irons and Tottenham are both in for the USA ace.
Signed on a permanent basis from Schalke this summer, the 25 times capped international has struggled to hold down a regular spot in Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
This season McKennie has made eight appearances across all competitions, including four starts – albeit one was cut short at half time due to a tactical switch.

Signing another midfielder for big money should be low on the list of priorities for David Moyes.
Despite the impending retirement of Mark Noble, the Irons still boast the settled partnership of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek as well as having new loan signing Alex Kral and youngster Conor Coventry to return.
Therefore, shelling out this money on a position of relative strength seems unnecessary and the funds would perhaps be better spent elsewhere in the squad.
