West Ham could be set once again for a battle to keep Declan Rice this summer after the midfielder recently rejected two new contracts at the club.
Despite still holding a deal at the London Stadium until 2024 (Transfermarkt), the 22-year-old is seemingly unwilling to further commit to the Hammers.
This has lead to speculation that long-term admirers Chelsea, perhaps along with Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool could come calling.
Now, reputable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has told his Here We Go podcast, as cited by Football Transfers on Twitter, that Blues manager Thomas Tuchel in particular is an admirer of the Irons’ star.

Currently away as part of Gareth Southgate’s England side that reached the Euro 2020 final on Wednesday night, Rice’s reputation has risen substantially in the last 18 months.
Last season the powerful defensive midfielder played 32 times in the Premier League, scoring twice and adding one assist.

Undoubtedly a first name on the teamsheet for David Moyes, the Scot will be hoping to build a side around Rice instead of losing his star man.
However, interest was always likely to be forthcoming once again, now the club has to guard against losing control of the situation.
Previously Moyes has made it clear it would take offers in access of £100million to land the £58.5million valued star, a stance the club should adhere align with.
Qualification for the Europa League for the upcoming season could prove to be crucial towards the Hammers’ chances of keeping the England ace.
