West Ham could be about to benefit from transfers elsewhere as Manchester United become active in the summer market.
Having already agreed on the capture of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, the Old Trafford club have now reportedly turned their attentions to Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
However, such deals could come at a cost to the squad in situ and in turn allow the Hammers to swoop for loan sensation Jesse Lingard.
That’s according to a report from the Daily Mirror, as cited by Alan Rzepa on Twitter, claiming there will need to be outgoings soon from Manchester and the attacking midfielder could be in the firing line.

Previous reports have claimed Manchester United will demand a fee in the region of £30million for the England international Rio Ferdinand dubbed as ‘amazing’ whilst in east London.
Capped 29 times at senior level, Lingard was reborn at the London Stadium and finished a short loan spell with nine goals and five assists in 16 Premier League outings.

Valued at £19.8million and with 12 months remaining on a deal in east London (Transfermarkt), the £30million mooted fee is far from unreasonable if a little excessive given the likely squad role.
That said, given the impact the star had on the West Ham side, David Moyes would no doubt jump at any opportunity to add the Englishman to the ranks once again.
