West Ham have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign a long time target Nikola Milenkovic for around £12million this summer.
The Serbian central defender has entered the final 12 months of a contract with Serie A club Fiorentina and has until now refused to commit to new terms.
This has lead to the 23-year-old seeking a new club, whilst attracting plenty of interest, including from the Hammers.
According to a report from Calciomercato, as cited by West Ham Fan Zone on Twitter, La Viola are prepared to cut their losses.

The report claims that the Irons have been contacted over a potential £12-17million move, whilst the agents await an official offer from European giants Juventus.
Milenkovic has become an established performer in Italy, making 121 Serie A appearances in a four-year spell since signing from Partizan Belgrade.
During 2020/21, the Serb earned an average Sofascore rating of 6.96 in 34 league outings.

Valued at £22.5million (Transfermarkt), landing the Serbian for the mooted fee would be a bargain way of solving the defensive dilemma at the London Stadium.
Earmarked as one of the positions in need of strengthening this summer, landing a sure-fire option on the cheap would allow David Moyes to potentially splash a little extra cash on the squad elsewhere.
