Juventus are believed to be prepared to sell Turkish defender Merih Demiral this summer and West Ham are in the mix.
The Hammers are reportedly ‘serious’ about their interest and are joined by Premier League rivals Everton in the pursuit.
Italian giants Juve are looking to recoup around €35million (£30million) for the 23-year-old as newly appointed manager Massimiliano Allegri looks to raise funds for incomings.
According to a report from Juve Live, as cited by Balls and Bells on Twitter, the English duo are leading the chase ‘above all’ others.

Demiral struggled to hold down a place in the first team at the Turin club in 2020/21 – making just 15 Serie A outings.
Described as a ‘really bright’ player who has ‘got everything’ by Italian football expert Conor Clancy, the 24-cap Turkey international still has plenty of room for career growth.

Signing Demiral would certainly resolve any defensive uncertainty in the Irons squad.
A high-quality operator, the Turkish ace has been touted as a star of the future, one West Ham would be wise to capture at the given opportunity.
Valued at £25million and under contract at the Allianz until 2024 (Transfermarkt), having previously linked with the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham, either the Hammers or Everton would be landing a shrewd deal.
