West Ham are reportedly readying a new bid for Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic this summer.
Having failed with an attempt to land the Serbian last summer, the Hammers are once again ‘preparing an offer’ for the towering 23-year-old.
Out of contract in a little over 12 months time in Florence, David Moyes is keen to bolster the defensive ranks at the London Stadium at a reduced price.
This is according to a report from Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, as cited by West Ham News & Views on Twitter.

Standing at 6ft 5in, Milenkovic can also provide cover at right-back for Vladimir Coufal and Ben Johnson.
Predominantly operating as a centre-back, the 28-cap ace made 37 appearances across all competitions in 2020/21 – earning an average Sofascore rating of 6.96 in 34 Serie A outings.

Signing Milenkovic this summer ahead of interest from Manchester United and Tottenham would be a huge statement of intent from the Irons.
Qualification for the Europa League means Moyes needs additional strength in depth within the squad, something the Serbian would instantly provide in the defensive department.
Billed the ‘new Vidic’ after compatriot and Premier League icon Nemanja Vidic, the £22.5million valued star would be a vast improvement on the outgoing Fabian Balbuena.
