West Ham central defender Issa Diop has emerged as a target for AC Milan this summer.
The Serie A and European giants are believed to have initiated talks with the Frenchman’s entourage in recent weeks with a view to making a permanent offer.
This comes after the 24-year-old seemingly fell out of favour at the London Stadium under manager David Moyes.
Now, according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Salvatore Cantone, as cited by Westham_hub on Twitter, the Rossoneri are keen on taking the Hammer.

The initial report claims that despite signing Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea on a permanent basis, the San Siro club are fearful of losing Alessio Romagnoli this summer and could sign Diop as a replacement.
Highly rated by many and hailed a ‘monster by Jose Mourinho, the French youth international only made 21 appearances across all competitions last term – albeit five games were missed with injury.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £16.2million and under contract in east London until 2023 (Transfermarkt), West Ham certainly hold all the cards when it comes to the Frenchman’s future.
Given Moyes’ desire to use other options and the potential of a new central defensive arrival this summer, perhaps the Irons could cash in on Diop this time around.
