West Ham have been tipped to sign Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain by journalist David Hughes.
Speaking on the Liverpool Echo’s Blood Red Podcast, Hughes suggested time could be up on Merseyside for the 27-year-old midfielder and cited the Hammers as a potentially perfect fit.

I’m just of the opinion to sell him, to be honest. I think it would suit both parties. I do think he could still go and be an effective player at another club. Someone like a West Ham springs to mind, I know they’ve been linked and that’s why it’s in there. I feel like he could go and be an effective starter at another club, but I just don’t think he does it enough for Liverpool, to be blunt, and so I’d be inclined to get some money back if I could.
Signed from Arsenal for £35million (Sky Sports) back in 2017, the explosive ace was enjoying a bright start to life on Merseyside before a brutal injury blow saw him miss around 12 months of action.
Since returning to the fold, Oxlade-Chamberlain has found regular game time hard to come by at Anfield and made just 17 appearances in all competitions in 2020/21.

The Hammers are seemingly perenially linked with a move for the former Gunner every transfer window.
Signing the ex-Southampton academy ace would at least prevent him from improving on his three goals and four assists in just 10 matches against the east Londoners.
In need of additional midfield options, based on ability alone David Moyes would relish having someone of the 35-cap England man in the squad, recent injuries mean any expenditure would be a risk.
Valued at £18million and under contract at Anfield until 2023 (Transfermarkt), the Irons would likely have to shell out something in the region of £20million for the star – especially given the lack of desperation to sell.
