That’s according to a report from Spanish outlet AS, as cited by West Ham Extra on Twitter.

The report claims both the Hammers and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are monitoring the 23-year-old having impressed in La Liga this season.
Furthermore, the same report states numerous clubs from across Europe are also keen on the Spain Under 21 international – with a €12m (10.3m) release clause in his contract ready to be met.
This season, Moncayola scored twice in 37 appearances across all competitions – earning an average Sofascore rating of 6.76 in 36 La Liga outings.

Signing an additional midfielder to supplement Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek must be held alongside a striker arrival at the London Stadium this summer.
David Moyes relied heavily upon the combative duo last term – a reliance that would be stretched given the additional workload brought on by Europa League demands.
Valued at just £2.7m (Transfermarkt) and uncapped at senior level, Moncayola may be a rather underwhelming signing, however, as was Soucek and Coufal – both of whom have worked out exceptionally well in east London.
It’s important to bear in mind the first priority this summer must remain a striker arrival – a position that is likely to see an expensive outlay.
Therefore, signing a midfielder for around the £10m mark would leave enough in the coffers for strength in other areas.
