West Ham are reportedly interested in signing giant Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst.
Hammers boss David Moyes is likely to prioritise a forward signing this summer having sold Sebastien Haller back in January.
Linked with a plethora of options from across Europe and domestically, Weghorst is the latest name to join the list of potential Irons targets.
That’s according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, as cited by West Ham Central on Twitter, who claim the east Londoners are keen on the 6’5 ace.

London rivals Tottenham and Chelsea have also been credited with admiration in the 28-year-old Dutchman.
This season, the four-times capped Weghorst has scored 25 goals and registered nine assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Overall, the target man has netted 154 goals across 352 career appearances – leading to Wolfsburg reportedly demanding between £30-40million for their asset.

Signing Weghorst would certainly add a new dimension to Moyes’ ranks.
Unsurprisingly the Dutch powerhouse is touted for having excellent aerial prowess and finishing ability (Whoscored), two attributes that lend themselves ideally to the role required.
Valued at £27million and under contract until 2023 (Transfermarkt), West Ham wouldn’t be paying over the odds were the mooted £30-40million price tag remain.
