West Ham manager David Moyes confirmed on Tuesday that he is close to agreeing to a new ‘long term’ contract at the London Stadium.
There had been questions marks over the future of the 58-year-old as his 18-month contract headed towards its conclusion at the end of the season.
However, speaking ahead of the Irons trip to the Hawthorns to face West Brom tonight, Moyes confirmed in his press conference, as cited by West Ham News & Views on Twitter, that talks were progressing towards a positive conclusion.

The Scot has overseen an astonishing transformation in east London since returning for his second spell in charge with the Hammers.
Having narrowly avoided relegation last term, only recently have West Ham fallen off the pace in the pursuit of a top-four finish.
One victory from the final two fixtures will secure Europa League football next season – an astonishing achievement.

In truth Moyes’ stay never looked in doubt, but it’s no less a relief to see light at the end of the tunnel.
Following the premature and bizarre departure the first time around, the West Ham hierarchy are right to tie the boss down long term on this occasion.
Now he needs backing in the summer transfer market in order to ensure this season was no flash in the pan.
