Former Premier League midfielder Rob Lee has claimed that there are very few players left in world football that can provide the same attributes as West Ham ace Tomas Soucek.
The 26-year-old was initially signed on a short term loan in January last year, before making the move permanent ahead of the ongoing 2020/21 campaign.
David Moyes will be delighted by the decision to sign the Czech Republic ace, given Soucek currently leads the club’s scoring charts with nine Premier League strikes.
Lee, who played 280 times in the top flight, has joined a long line of admirers this week, telling Football FanCast what makes the 33-cap Czech star stand out among his peers.
He does what a lot of midfielders don’t do anymore and that’s getting in the box because he just wants to get goals and there aren’t many midfielders these days that want to do that. He’s got a great engine on him, he tackles and he’s a big lad. He’s a goal-scoring midfielder and they’re very difficult to come across these days.
Soucek has been catching the eye of pundits and rivals alike, with reports suggesting this summer could see interest forthcoming from Europe’s elite clubs.

Rumoured interest should come as little surprise to the Hammers given their midfield bulwarks inspired displays.
Signed as a defensive-minded midfielder to shore up the centre of the park alongside Declan Rice, Soucek has developed into a genuine attacking threat this term.
From an Irons perspective, Moyes will be desperate to secure European football and in turn secure the future of the Czech star.
