Ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has claimed reported West Ham target Eddie Nketiah would leave Arsenal for the Irons.
This comes as a report from the Evening Standard claims David Moyes could look to land Nketiah as the Gunners prepare to focus on offering fellow youngster Folarin Balogun a new deal.
The 21-year-old striker saved the day for the north Londoners at the weekend when he netted a 97th-minute equaliser against Fulham on Sunday, however, that strike was just his second in the Premier League in 16 outings.
Kenny, who played 67 times in the top flight has told Football Insider that he feels the England Under 21 ace would benefit from a move to the London Stadium.
You’d definitely rather play for West Ham than Arsenal at the moment. They lost at the weekend but they’re still in the race for Europe. But the way Arsenal are going, there’s no way they are going to get back into Europe. As it stands, you’d be looking at West Ham if he’s wanting to push himself and play at the top level. Moyes is a big factor in that. He has always given youth a chance and he’s one of those managers who can turn players around.
Overall this term Nketiah has rather been frozen out by Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium, frozen out by the Spaniard in making just three starts in the league.

Signing a striker will be imperative for the Hammers this summer, a position that has been lacking in cover since Sebastien Haller was allowed to leave the club for Ajax in January.
Nketiah would represent a shrewd move for the club and would certainly fit the bill in terms of Moyes wanting young, hungry players.
