Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has taken the opportunity ahead of Monday night’s trip to the London Stadium to praise a number of West Ham‘s stars.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the eccentric Argentine has hailed the Hammers successes this term as well as some of the individual orchestrators.
He said:
”A secret or something special – it’s not just me who observes it, they’ve been able to maintain a stable partnership in midfield. The two players there [Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek] are very important. For each of the attacking roles, they have two players. Especially with the two wingers and offensive midfielder. The four full-backs they possess are important players.”
The 65-year-old then went on to praise the set-piece abilities of Aaron Cresswell and David Moyes‘ ability to ‘obtain some very good minutes’ from key players.

Some very astute and complementary observations from Monday’s opposite number.
The Hammers by in large have maintained a core of players who have helped provide consistency of performance thus far.
This is never more evident than in the midfield with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek playing every minute in the league – were it not for a red card given to the Czech ace in the dying seconds at Craven Cottage.
