West Ham have given the green light for Issa Diop to leave the London Stadium on loan this window, according to fresh insights from Football Insider.
The 24-year-old defender joined the Hammers in the summer of 2018 for £22m, a club-record fee at the time.
Valued by Transfermarkt at £18m, the Frenchman has enjoyed two strong seasons under both David Moyes and his predecessor Manuel Pellegrini but has recently found himself falling down the pecking order.
Diop last featured for a full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the London Stadium in December, with Moyes preferring a partnership of Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson in recent fixtures.
According to Football Insider, there are multiple clubs willing to take him on loan in this window. It is unclear as to whether those are English, foreign or a mixture of domestic and overseas, but it has been noted that London duo Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the player.
Once hailed as a ‘monster’ by current Spurs manager Jose Mourinho, the Premier League-winning Portuguese strategist could come forward with interest.

Diop has only made five appearances this season, of which three were from the start (Transfermarkt). For whatever reason, Moyes simply does not trust the Frenchman in the same way as before.
At just 24, Diop still has plenty to offer the Hammers as a long-term option, and a short and straight loan deal with no option to buy could be ideal. However, the Hammers should focus on sending Diop out of the Premier League to avoid giving their rivals a needless boost.
