West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek is developing a handy knack of scoring big goals of late and was on the scene once again to rescue a point on Sunday against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The midfielder, who has been linked with a move away from east London in recent weeks, has drawn comparisons to a former David Moyes favourite in Marouane Fellaini with his almost unrivalled aerial ability.
Soucek headed his fourth league goal of the season and put in an all-round impressive display – as underlined by a Sofascore rating of 7.7, the highest of anyone on show for the hosts.
The 25-year-old has been an ever-present figure in the heart of the West Ham midfield alongside Declan Rice this season and many the Irons faithful have taken to Twitter to laud their ‘Hammer of the year’.
