West Ham have enjoyed a reasonably good start to the 2020/21 Premier League season, even if they don’t quite have the points to show for their considerable endeavors.
David Moyes’ side have faced the bulk of last season’s top six already, including the top two Manchester City and Liverpool. The Hammers sit in 12th position going into the two-week international break, having earned 11 points from the opening eight fixtures.
After victory on Saturday night over Fulham thanks to a late Tomas Soucek goal, Moyes will be optimistic about moving up the table with seemingly favorable fixtures to come.
It is a season which has already produced some memorable moments, despite the lack of fans in attendance to see them firsthand – perhaps the pick of the bunch is Manuel Lanzini’s last-minute wonder strike as the Irons completed a remarkable three-goal comeback against London rivals Tottenham last month.
With the second international break of the season upon us, what better time to reflect on what has gone so far and test your knowledge of the Hammers this season…
