West Ham United have not yet submitted a bid for midfielder Sander Berge, according to a report on Sport Witness.
The Genk midfielder is being closely monitored by the Hammers and Premier League rivals Liverpool.

However, despite the intensifying rumours, the report reveals that the London club are yet to submit an official bid for the Genk man.
Fellow London club Chelsea have also been reported to be interested in the Norwegian.

The midfielder himself revealed that he is open to making a January transfer so it is a surprise that the Hammers have not jumped at the opportunity of signing the 21-year-old.
Berge is a key figure for the Belgian side, proven by the fact that he played in every UEFA Champions League group stage match. He has also featured 21 times in the Jupiter Pro League this season, netting four times in the process, showing his value to the team.
Fighting off Liverpool for the signature of any player is not easy, but if the Hammers are actually serious about this move then they need to put together an attractive proposal because of the number of clubs monitoring him.
