Morgan Sanson is on the radars of Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but West Ham United are leading the chase.
The Marseille midfielder is a man in heavy demand and if recent reports are to be believed, West Ham have stepped up their interest.
According to Le10 Sport, the Hammers are the only club to submit a ‘firm offer’ for Sanson but it was swiftly turned down a few weeks ago.
Details of West Ham’s bid haven’t been revealed but the report claims the French club want in excess of £30million for the 25-year-old.
READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Although Sanson is yet to earn his first France cap, he’s got plenty of experience under his belt, making 127 appearances over three seasons at Marseille.
He’s still yet to hit his prime years and with 38 goal contributions at the Stade Velodrome, there’s proof he’d provide missed creativity from deep in midfield.
Declan Rice has featured in every single Premier League game this season and is crying out for support in the middle of the park.
We believe Sanson would be a good addition to David Moyes’ squad, however, there are no indications that West Ham will be happy to splash out the fee required to acquire the Frenchman anytime soon.
