West Ham United smashed the club transfer record last summer to secure the £40million signing of Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt.
If recent reports are to be believed though, the Hammers could be about to make their strike force worth £70million.
According to Sportmediaset, cited by Sport Witness, AC Milan have placed Krzysztof Piatek on the market following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The report claims Piatek isn’t against a move away from Italy and West Ham have made initial contact over the 24-year-old.
He joined Milan from Genoa last season in a campaign where he notched 30 goals in 42 matches for both clubs.
The San Siro club are said to want €32million for the Poland international and West Ham ‘seem the most willing to invest’.

Haller has been crying out for a strike partner since moving to East London; it was in a two-striker system in which he flourished in Germany.
Summer signing Albian Ajeti hasn’t proved his worth at the London Stadium and Michail Antonio’s injuries too frequently get the better of him.
It’s a smart move if the reports are to be believed and aged just 24, Piatek certainly has his best years ahead of him.
