West Ham United are expected to begin their January business with the return of Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren Randolph.
Randolph left the Hammers in 2017 for regular playing time and has featured in 106 Championship games for Middlesbrough since.
According to The Athletic, he’s set to make his London Stadium return as back-up for Lukasz Fabianski after a £4million fee was agreed for his services.
The 32-year-old has been out of action recently after suffering an injury in November but will look to provide Fabianski with stern competition for the no. 1 shirt upon his return.

Although David Martin has proven to be far less mistake-prone than Roberto, neither goalkeeper seems to be up to the task of Premier League football.
The need for reinforcements in between the sticks was clear as soon as Roberto’s, signed in the summer as Fabianski’s back-up, quality, or lack of, was clear.
Randolph has become a popular figure at the Riverside Stadium which should give West Ham fans optimism about his ability to improve the current squad.
David Moyes is expected to sufficiently bolster his ranks this month and Randolph looks set to be the perfect start to the club’s business.
